David has over 30 years experience in all aspects of motor distribution, retailing and re - marketing. 25 of those years were spent working for Inchcape Plc the world's largest independent motor distributor and retailer in senior management positions. David has extensive knowledge of today's used car markets in the UK and Europe and a brief synopsis of his experiences is shown below.

• Extensive current experience in used car markets in Belgium, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and the UK .

•  Purchased over 150,000 used cars in the UK, Belgium, France, Italy and Spain. 

• Remarketed over 100,000 used cars in the UK using electronic disposal channels designed for and used by major motor manufacturers. 

• Disposed of over 80,000 used vehicles in physical auction programmes in the UK - plus extensive experience of disposing used cars through electronic auctions in Europe and physical auctions in Germany. 

• Experience of cross border trading in Bulgaria, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Russia. 

• Major contributor to design and launch of major used car programmes with motor manufacturers in the UK. 

• Research, design, development and operation of stand alone used car centres on green field sites in the UK.  

• Contributor to research by International Car Distribution Programme.
